  1. v1.3.0Latest

Guided month close, grouped review, and historical exchange rates

    Added

    • The month close shows one status, the next step, and its checks in four stages: data, transactions, documents, and close. Once the due date has passed, the close screen and the dashboard say how many days the period is overdue.
    • The period title opens a picker for months and quarters that shows each period's close state. The close opens on the period after the latest closed one.
    • A source with no transactions in a period can be marked as not used for it. Balance checks start from suggested opening and closing balances taken from the previous close or the imported statement, and suggestions are saved only after you confirm them.
    • Currencies without a reference rate can be settled on the close screen: enter a rate with its source, or keep the currency out of the totals. Owner-entered rates are marked as such in the exported exchange rates.
    • Period closes use your reporting currency, which can be changed from the close settings.
    • The review queue groups similar transactions, so one category and business, personal, or mixed decision covers the whole group and can be saved as a rule for future imports.
    • On plans with rules, your rules sort new CSV imports and bank syncs as they arrive. They fill only empty fields, and a transaction a rule fully answers leaves the review queue.
    • Optional AI category suggestions after imports on plans that include AI assistance, off until you turn them on. A suggestion only pre-fills the category; you still confirm it.
    • The dashboard's income and expense cards each show how many transactions they include, and one action syncs your connected banks or offers a statement upload.
    • The transactions list shows each transaction's category and business or personal label, adds "Needs review" and "No category" filters, and lets you change the category and label from the transaction details.
    • On phones, a tab bar at the bottom of the screen links the dashboard, the month close, transactions, and sources, with the full menu under More.

    Improved

    • CSV import asks only what it cannot work out on its own, with values from your file, for example whether 07/08/2026 means 7 August or 8 July. It then asks once whether the file is the complete statement for the suggested range.
    • Each import goes to an explicit source: the existing source of a recognized bank, or a new one you can name. Rows that a shared source already holds are not imported twice.
    • An import started from a month close names that period and leads back to it, and files dropped on the import history page open straight in the import screen.
    • CSV import guidance, questions, and previews work on phones and in all five interface languages. Ambiguous currency symbols such as $, ¥, and kr are confirmed before import.
    • CSV imports recognize 158 fiat currencies, including historical codes such as BGN and HRK, and each currency gets its own account.
    • Reports, close packs, exports, and dashboard cash flow convert currencies with historical reference rates for each transaction date. Workbook exports and close packs include the rates used.
    • Fix actions on the close screen jump to the section that resolves a check or open the review queue filtered to the period, with a way back. Warnings are accepted with a preset reason.
    • The monthly report opens on the month being closed, links to the review queue when transactions still wait, and leads with the ZIP for your accountant. PDF, XLSX, and CSV are under Other formats.
    • The Accountant page lets owners invite an accountant and see who already has access.
    • The Rules page lists saved rules first; the form opens when you add or edit a rule, or right away while you have none.
    • Analytics opens on the last full calendar month compared with the month before, keeps 7, 30, and 90 days and all time one tap away, and moves the remaining filters under More filters.
    • The Sources page has one way to add a source and groups Open Banking banks together.
    • Each section keeps one name in every language: Month close, Rules, Sources, and Plan & billing. Dates follow the interface language and show a time only when the statement includes one.
    • Phone layouts for the close screen, CSV import, review queue, and analytics: cards stack their actions, and popovers and sheets fit the screen and respect notch safe areas.
    • On phones, More opens a sheet from the tab bar with the sections the tabs leave out, the account, and display preferences, and tab labels are no longer cut off in longer languages.
    • AI category suggestions and natural-language search now use OpenAI.
    • When a session expires, requests that fail together share one refresh instead of competing for it.
    • Release checks run faster, and every deployment ends with a readiness check of the service.

    Fixed

    • Applying a saved rule no longer changes transactions inside closed periods, and the result says how many were skipped.
    • CSV imports set aside rows dated inside a closed period, and an import that touches a closed period can be undone only after the period is reopened.
    • A missing exchange rate is reported instead of an unconverted amount shown in another currency. Incomplete totals are hidden, and closing waits until the rate is settled.
    • Totals across different currencies are no longer added up without conversion, and analytics leaves out the runway estimate when the balance it needs is unknown.
    • Review group titles leave out store and terminal numbers from bank descriptions.
    • The close checklist's blocker badge now meets WCAG AA contrast, and narrow screens no longer clip the checkout result actions or the dashboard close card.
    • The import details page keeps every action, including undo, reachable on phones.
    • Small expand toggles on the close screen, CSV import, Rules, and Accountant pages are easier to tap.
    • Review group statement text wraps between words instead of breaking them apart.
    • Analytics names transactions left out for a missing exchange rate instead of calling them non-fiat.
    • Old billing settings links open Plan & billing and keep their parameters.
    • Vulnerable frontend dependencies, including nanoid, were updated.

    Removed

    • Crypto support. Watch-only wallets, crypto sources with their accounts and transactions, and crypto assets were deleted; Purely records fiat currencies only.
    • The suggested reserve on the monthly report and in its export, which could not be configured.
  2. v1.2.0

Reliable period workflows across desktop and mobile

    Added

    • Installable PWA support with update handling, an offline fallback, iOS installation guidance, and the concise home-screen name Purely.
    • Broader browser, accessibility, localization, and responsive regression coverage for public and authenticated workflows.
    • Cookie consent management is available before analytics scripts load.

    Improved

    • Mobile layouts for sources, imports, transaction review, recurring transactions, reports, settings, accountant, and administrator screens.
    • Period-close controls, source summaries, balance explanations, and status readability in light and dark themes.
    • Dashboard navigation, notifications, compact cards, sheets, and touch targets on narrow screens.
    • Landing-page analytics integration and browser security policy compatibility.
    • CSV recognition and localized transaction statuses across common European bank exports.
    • Bank- and language-independent CSV column detection, with a shorter guided mapping flow when a file is genuinely ambiguous.
    • Local CSV parsing now uses hardened dialect detection, localized absolute-date parsing, and typo-tolerant header matching without sending financial data to external services.
    • Compact source cards distinguish one-time CSV imports from sources that support background synchronization.
    • CSV previews now expose the final signed amount and keep every confidently detected field editable before import.

    Fixed

    • Landing translations remain stable under concurrent server rendering.
    • Compact screens no longer hide administrator controls or clip source and review content.
    • PWA updates discard obsolete caches, and signed-out users cannot reopen cached authenticated pages.
    • Exchange-rate requests use the current provider endpoint without a redirect.
    • Vulnerable transitive frontend dependencies were upgraded.
    • Generic German statements are no longer misclassified as N26 exports solely because they contain booking-date and amount columns.
    • CookieYes, Microsoft Clarity, and consent-aware Google tags are no longer blocked by the production Content Security Policy. Google Consent Mode now defaults to denied before GTM starts, while local browser checks ignore CookieYes domain-registration warnings.
    • Saved CSV mappings can no longer assign incompatible text columns as dates, times, timezones, or amounts.
    • Repeated CSV sample values and warnings no longer produce duplicate interface elements or React key warnings.
    • CSV mapping asks about only uncertain columns. Confident matches stay applied automatically and remain available in a collapsed review section.
    • CSV rows with an empty booking or completion date now fall back to another structurally valid date column, including cancelled transactions in localized statements. Unicode minus signs are normalized correctly in imported amounts.
    • CSV source and empty-state summaries are vertically centered consistently across desktop and mobile layouts.
    • Ambiguous numeric dates are blocked until their DMY, MDY, or YMD order is proven by the full file or confirmed by the user.
    • Debit and credit direction columns now control the final transaction sign, including localized direction values and separate money-in/money-out columns.
    • Unknown currencies no longer fall back to EUR. Currency codes are validated against supported assets, while files without a currency column require an explicit account-currency confirmation.
    • CSV import now persists the exact signed preview configuration and verifies both the file hash and normalized-result hash before writing transactions.
    • Generic statements no longer inherit a bank provider merely because they share common date, amount, or currency headers.
    • CSV mapping remains available when service workers are blocked by the browser or test environment.
